“As with any place, Petaluma is an amalgam of its natural environment, its built environment, and its people. But I would argue that for this place, the ecosystem of unique small businesses is also a critical part of what makes Petaluma special. My goal for Place Matters is to create content that reflects the best of this town back to us, reminds us of how we came to land here, and why we choose to stay.”

“Carin has the unique ability of translating facts and ideas into words and stories that truly resonate.”

- Tali Bouskila, owner, Flower Casita

“I just read the article in the Argus and it brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for sharing the story of Ceto Home. It’s been such a lovely experience.”

- Samantha Morton-Robert, Owner Ceto Home

“One of Carin’s many strengths is connecting people to create a crucible for the unexpected.”

-Val Richman, past director, Petaluma Arts Center

"There is an experimental quality to Jacobs’ method of curation, almost like a chef combining different ingredients to produce a surprisingly successful dish.”

-Jane Vick, journalist
